I sold roller coasters. That was my start in this incredible industry. Representing one of the most iconic suppliers of thrill rides on a global stage, Vekoma. This opportunity allowed me to visit and observe the operations of parks all over the world and develop connections that are still with me today. I learned everything there was to know about rides, what was popular with what demographics, the technical and contractual side of a sale, how to install and maintain a ride, and if necessary, years later, how to resell the same attraction.
My sales of attractions, mostly rollercoasters and other steel mechanical thrill rides in Europe and Asia, gave me the basis and opportunity to learn from the parks such as De Efteling, Euro Disney, Warner Bros Germany and Australia, Ocean Park Hong Kong, and Windows on the World to name a few; as well as exposure to very diverse cultures and their relevance to visitor venues on a global scale.
This exposure put me in a position to advise on the construction of theme parks working in project management for firms such as Team Leisure, KCC, and JRA, which then evolved into operations for industry leaders such as Al Hokair, Adventureland, and the Aura Group. Projects from UAE to Morocco, Russia to Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia to Qatar have contributed to my understanding of project development and park operations, and what is required of both to make your investment profitable.
My experience has given me working knowledge of both the supplier and operator side of the attraction industry. I love what I do. And I want to use my life and professional skills to help others connect to the right people and services, and the right companies and products.
